Pastics industry is one of the most influential and innovative sectors in the world, having a significant impact on almost every aspects of our daily lives.
From 5 to 8 September, the Plast 2023 fair was held in the pavilions of Fiera Milano (Rho), which addressed fundamental issues that we at Temakrom also have at heart: environmental sustainability, energy saving, recovery-recycling- reuse and circular economy.
When we talk about plastic we immediately think about the negative environmental, health and social impacts associated with its use and inappropriate management. In 2023, however, plastic must also be considered a means that has allowed us to accelerate the development of the industry in recent years and which, above all, has made our daily lives easier. It plays a fundamental role due to its versatility, lightness and durability, but it is important to use it responsibly to promote sustainable solutions for the future.
At Temakrom we have an industrial policy with which we encourage not to denigrate plastic and we strive every day to reduce its environmental impact.
How? By investing in the development of plastic materials that are recyclable or based on renewable sources, promoting the recycling of its plastic products and encouraging consumers to do so, improving the efficiency of production processes to reduce waste of plastic material during production and involving employees in adoption of sustainable practices and education on the topic.
Declaring a commitment to sustainability is an important step, but it is equally crucial to translate it into concrete and measurable actions. We, however, have no fear: if we set ourselves goals, we will achieve them at any cost!
